Halloween Slime with pumpkin confetti is a sparkly slime that kids will adore. Glitter and foil confetti make this slime so colorful and fun!
INGREDIENTS FOR HALLOWEEN SLIME
This Halloween slime recipe is easy to make and only takes 6 ingredients.
- Elmer's Glue in black glitter
- Warm water
- Baking soda
- Contact lens solution (containing boric acid)
- Glitter (if desired)
- Pumpkin Foil Confetti (if desired)
HOW TO MAKE HALLOWEEN SLIME WITH PUMPKIN CONFETTI
If you are familiar with making slime this project will be a breeze for you!
STEP ONE: ADD GLUE
Start off by pouring the 6 ounce bottle of black glitter Elmer's glue into a large bowl.
Fill the empty glue bottle about ⅓ full with warm water (about ¼ cup) and put the lid back on. Shake the bottle well to combine the remaining glue with the water.
Pour the mixture into the bowl with glue and stir to combine.
STEP TWO: ADD BAKING SODA
Add the baking soda to the glue mixture and stir to mix it thoroughly.
STEP THREE: ADD GLITTER & CONFETTI
If you want to bring some umph to your slime now is the time to add it.
Add in the glitter and the foil confetti to the bowl and stir it up.
STEP FOUR: ADD CONTACT SOLUTION
Add contact lens solution to the glue mixture and stir well.
Note: regular glue will require less contact lens solution than glitter glue. Add the contact lens solution slowly, mixing between additions, and add only enough to bring the glue together into a soft ball.
STEP FIVE: KNEAD
Remove the slime from the bowl allowing any excess liquid to remain in the bowl.
The slime will be VERY sticky. Begin to play with the slime, kneading it as you would bread dough. This will bring the slime together.
The slime is ready when no longer sticky.
This Halloween slime keeps best in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
