HOW TO MAKE SUGAR-FREE SPICED SMORES HOT COCOA
This recipe makes one cup of hot cocoa. It is simple to make extra servings…just multiply the ingredients by the number of mugs you want to make!
STEP ONE: HEAT MILK
I prefer to make my hot cocoa with milk instead of water. It is totally up to you which liquid you use. Milk, water, almond milk, coconut milk, etc. will all work fine as your base liquid.
Heat up one cup of milk or other liquid until it is hot but not boiling. You can heat the milk in the microwave or in a small saucepan on the stovetop.
STEP TWO: MIX INGREDIENTS
When the milk is hot stir in one packet of sugar-free hot cocoa mix, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and a pinch of ground nutmeg and chili powder.
I like to use a whisk to get the dry ingredients blended in very well.
Now add in 2 tablespoons of the Torani Sugar Free Smores Syrup and stir.
STEP THREE: TOPPINGS
Pour your hot cocoa into a mug and top with some sugar-free whipped topping if desired.
Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top! Enjoy!
This is such a great drink to serve at holiday parties.
