HOW TO MAKE WW PANCAKES

One key to making these the best healthy pancakes you have had is to use a really ripe banana! It adds the sweetness the recipe needs without needing any extra sugar.

STEP ONE: MASH BANANA

Start off by mashing the banana in a medium bowl.

STEP TWO: ADD LIQUID INGREDIENTS

Add the egg whites to the bowl and mix them with the mashed banana.

Pour in the milk, vanilla, and yogurt and mix until well incorporated.

STEP THREE: ADD DRY INGREDIENTS

Now add in the cinnamon and baking powder and stir.

Slowly add the flour into the bowl and stir with a spatula. Stir until the mixture is well-combined. It is fine if there are some lumps left. Try not to overstir the batter.

STEP FOUR: COOK PANCAKES

Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium-hot heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray if desired.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until small bubbles form on the top of the pancake. Flip and cook until golden brown.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH YOUR PANCAKES

Pancakes are always great with syrup. Unfortunately, the syrup is very high in myWW points.

There are some other more point-friendly options to make your pancakes taste great.

  • Sugar-Free Syrup
  • Whipped Cream (fat-free or sugar-free)
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Mix up some PB2 peanut butter and spread it on the pancake

  1. Thank you for the recipe. I made the other recipe and threw them in the trash. I will definitely try these.

  2. These stuck to the pan even with a lot of spray. I guess you need a really expensive nonstick pan. I won’t make again.

This sounds delicious. Maybe even for supper some night with a salad. Do you think you could mix ahead and keep in refrigerator? I’m going to try this in the waffle maker too. I think the pancakes could be frozen and reheated too.

Could I use one whole egg instead of egg whites? I think eggs are zero personal points.

What do you think of adding peanut butter powder to the batter? If you think it would work, how much to use? Could some of the flour be replaced with peanut butter powder?

    1. I am not sure if a whole egg would get the same results as egg whites, but it is worth a try…let me know how it turns out. I haven’t tried peanut butter powder in the batter, but it sounds good!
