HOW TO MAKE PATRIOTIC KETO FUDGE
This recipe can be adjusted and made into Christmas fudge by just swapping out the blue food coloring for green food coloring in December.
STEP ONE: CREAM AND BUTTER
Take a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper so the paper hangs over the sides.
Start off by taking a medium saucepan and combining the heavy whipping cream and the unsalted butter over medium-high heat on the stove.
Stir this mixture often.
STEP TWO: ADD SUGAR SUBSTITUTE
Whisk the 1/3 cup of the Swerve confectioners sugar substitute into the saucepan of the whipping cream and the butter. Whisk until it is well-combined.
Add in the vanilla extract.
Continue to cook this mixture down, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn on the bottom until it has thickened.
STEP THREE: ADD TO PAN
Once the fudge mixture has thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and pour most of the mixture into the lined loaf pan.
Pour a few tablespoons of the mixture into 2 small bowls.
STEP FOUR: ADD FOOD COLORING
Add a few drops of the red food coloring into one bowl and stir to color that fudge mixture red.
Add a few drops of the blue food coloring into the other small bowl and stir to color that fudge mixture blue.
STEP FIVE: ADD SWIRLS
Drizzle a few spoonfuls of the blue fudge mixture over the top of the fudge in the loaf pan.
Do the same with the red fudge mixture.
Use a knife to swirl the colors around in a pretty way.
STEP SIX: CHILL
Place the loaf pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours or until hardened.
When it is completely hardened use a sharp knife to slice it into 8 pieces and enjoy it.
